Getting your lawn into shape takes an easy three steps. Fertilome makes your grass lush and green along with controlling weeds. The first step is the Lawn Food plus Crabgrass and Weed Preventer that can be applied in the spring - March 15th through April 15th is usually the time line. This will act like a barricade to prevent crabgrass from germinating. Each bag covers 5,000 square feet. If you buy all three steps at once, then you save! The second and third step is applied in the fall.
